UPLIFT configuration choices
Choose UPL120 power and keypad options as one plan
Configuration guide
The UPLIFT UPL120 has two desktop openings and a menu of power modules, covers and controllers. Those choices compete for space: filling both holes with power is not the same setup as keeping a cable opening available. Treat the selector as a menu of configurations, not as a single desk with every accessory included.
Start with what the two holes need to do
The UPL120 drawing shows two 3.15-inch openings. A two-cover selection gives you two rotating cable routes but no desk-mounted AC outlets. Option 18612 is visibly labeled PDC019 plus ACC088, but its current embedded mapping identifies PDC119 plus ACC088. The current PDC119 listing gives two AC outlets, two USB-A, one USB-C and 20W USB-C PD; confirm the final order code. The second cover can pass a cable. A two-power-module bundle fills both holes with desktop power and no cover. Verify each current option code and power-module mapping before transferring a manual or port count. Option 18612 demonstrates why the visible PDC019 label can differ from its embedded PDC119 mapping; current PDC119 material reviewed here does not document USB data transfer.
A two-PDC013 package is a different choice: its outlets stay below the surface until the round module is pressed up. That changes how the outlets are reached and raises the module above the top. Do not count pop-up PDC013 units as fixed PDC019s or transfer one model's dimensions, cord statements or installation instructions to the other. Compare the Black Laminate dual-PDC013 configuration with the Black Laminate dual-PDC019 configuration if you are choosing between raised outlets and fixed outlets with USB.
Count the connections below the surface too
Desktop power does not power the lifting frame. The frame still needs its own electrical connection. Older PDC019 instructions describe a cord and electrical details for that legacy model, but those figures are not transferred to a current selector state whose embedded option map identifies PDC119. The reviewed current PDC119 listing does not establish cord length or current limit. Check the exact accessory instructions and final order code before routing a moving desk’s power leads.
Do not use PDC019 USB output rates to describe a current PDC119 mapping. The current listing states 20W USB-C Power Delivery, but does not establish USB data transfer in the material reviewed here. If data transfer or a particular charging rate matters, require a documented connection that satisfies it instead of inferring one from the port shape.
Choose a controller for how you move the desk
The Basic Display Angled keypad uses press-and-hold up/down control; saved height count is not established by the reviewed Basic Display materials. The Advanced Comfort Angled FRM066 stores four heights and puts the buttons on an upward-facing controller; its product page also describes a lock and user-set minimum/maximum travel stops. The Advanced Comfort Flush FRM703 also offers four saved heights, one-touch recall, a lock and user-set travel stops, but places the control flush along the desktop's front edge. The Advanced Paddle is a separate controller with a paddle and two saved positions. These are not interchangeable just because each is an UPLIFT electric desk control.
On a UPL120, the flush position may be helpful if a front-edge control would otherwise meet a chair or object during movement. It still requires a clear lift path and proper installation. The FRM703 instructions call for mounting with two screws in the maker's pre-drilled holes, followed by a reset after assembly. If your routine depends on a remembered sitting and standing height, use a keypad whose own documentation confirms the needed memory feature.
Measure the UPL120 outline separately from usable depth
UPLIFT gives 71.7 inches overall width and a 38.4-inch maximum outside-depth envelope for the 120-degree desktop. The curved-front, angled-back surface is not a rectangle; the outside maximum does not tell you how deep the work area is at every point. Put masking tape on the floor or make a cardboard outline before ordering, and separately measure the surface zone required by your monitor base, keyboard and documents. If you need a documented continuous depth, the available UPL120 outline drawing does not provide a minimum usable depth.
The Black Laminate, Bamboo and other top options share the general outline, but the selector choices and exact product descriptions still matter. A photo of one top finish or a group arrangement is not evidence of another finish, keypad or installed power kit.
Shortlist the whole configuration
The separately assessed dual-power / FRM703 state is intended for a buyer who needs power in both openings and a flush four-memory keypad; confirm the selected power-module identities and do not transfer PDC019 cord or USB details to a PDC119 mapping, and who does not need a covered cable opening. The newly assessed Black Laminate / dual-PDC019 / FRM066 state keeps the four outlets but trades the flush controller for an angled four-memory keypad; compare its selector-state review with the flush option before choosing. One PDC019 plus one cover trades two of those outlets for a cable route. Two covers abandon desk power for two cable openings. Pop-up power changes access and installation details. Decide which jobs each hole must perform before comparing finish or price.
Use the exact selected-state reviews for the flush dual-PDC019, one PDC019 with a cover, and dual pop-up power plans. Their tradeoffs concern different actual combinations, not interchangeable accessory bundles. The full p1-11 UPL120 selector still includes other unreviewed paths; use this guide to narrow what to investigate, not as a claim that every possible order has been assessed. The new Black Laminate / FRM072 / one-PDC019-plus-cover state keeps the same two-outlet-and-cable-route bundle as the Bamboo / FRM066 example but changes the surface and controller; FRM072 memory is not established, unlike FRM066’s four documented positions.
The current Black Laminate / power-plus-cover option 18612 is also offered with the FRM703-BLK flush keypad; its visible option code retains PDC019 while the current embedded mapping identifies PDC119. It keeps the two AC outlets and covered cable opening but adds a documented four-height, one-touch controller; compare the FRM703 selector-state review with the FRM072 version before choosing. The keypad changes the control routine, not the two-hole power tradeoff, UPL120 footprint or missing uniform-depth measurement. Option 18613 trades the cover for an ACC059 cup and maps to PDC119 despite its visible PDC019B label; the FRM072 version has no documented saved-height count, so read the power-plus-storage review before choosing.
Choose an FRM066 controller when the power-plus-storage layout is already right but a repeatable four-position routine, lock or adjustable travel stops matters. The new Black Laminate / option 18613 / FRM066 selector-state review differs from the FRM072 review by keypad, not by hole use: the power grommet and ACC059 cup still occupy both openings, and the visible PDC019B label still conflicts with the embedded PDC119 mapping. FRM066 is angled, not flush like FRM703; compare the user's preferred control location as well as preset count. No exact installed configuration image or verified final bundle code is available.
The selector also has a separate Black Laminate / option 16972 / FRM072 selection whose visible label names KIT-ACC059-PDC013-BLK: one PDC013 pop-up module plus one ACC059 storage cup. Here the sourced module is PDC013, with four outlets; do not transfer the two-outlet PDC119 map from the different option-18613 state. Both holes are used, so neither state provides a covered cable pass-through. The Basic Display’s saved-height count remains undocumented; compare the keypad option independently of what each power/storage bundle contains.
The Black Laminate / option 16972 plan is also offered with the black FRM703 flush keypad, selector option 12041. That combination keeps one pop-up PDC013 and one ACC059 cup, but replaces the angled Basic Display with a flush controller and four one-touch saved heights. Compare the FRM703 + PDC013/ACC059 review with the FRM072 + PDC013/ACC059 version if the outlet/storage arrangement is settled but you are choosing how the desk moves. The complete installed combination is not pictured, and PDC013 cord length still conflicts across the maker’s published sources.
The Black Laminate UPL120 selector also pairs option 16971 (one PDC013 pop-up module plus one ACC088 rotating cable cover) with the black FRM703 flush keypad, option 12041. This keeps four AC outlets and a covered cable route while adding the FRM703’s documented four saved heights, one-touch recall, lock and travel limits; the ACC059 storage cup is not part of this bundle. Compare the FRM703 power-and-cover review with the same option 16971 with the FRM072 angled Basic Display if the control is your open decision. Option 16972 instead swaps the cover for an ACC059 cup. The complete FRM703/PDC013/ACC088 installation is not shown in the inspected maker images.
The exact Black Laminate selector also pairs option 16970, two PDC013 pop-up modules, with the black FRM703 flush keypad option 12041. That is eight documented AC outlets across both openings and four saved keypad heights, but no ACC088 cover or ACC059 cup. Compare the dual-pop-up / FRM703 assessment with the same two PDC013 modules and Basic Display Angled control: the outlet arrangement stays the same, while the flush keypad adds four one-touch memories, lock and travel stops. The selected module cord-length materials conflict, and the full desk installation is not shown in maker images.
