A useful fit for

A room with space for the UPL120 wraparound footprint where four fixed desktop AC outlets, USB charging and a flush four-memory controller are useful, and a covered cable opening is not essential.

The main tradeoff

The two fixed PDC019 modules occupy both 3.15-inch openings and leave no cable cover or storage cup. Their USB output details differ between manual and specification; the combined circuit allowance for two modules is not stated. The 71.7-inch width and 38.4-inch outside-depth envelope do not establish a uniform work depth. The 355-pound frame statement is not a static-load rating or remaining payload, and the full setup has no exact complete image.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can your room fit the full UPL120 wraparound outline?

The drawing gives 71.7 inches overall width and a 38.4-inch maximum outside-depth envelope. That outer boundary is not a uniform work depth.

Do you want four built-in AC outlets plus desktop USB charging?

The selected pair of PDC019 modules provides four AC receptacles and charge-only USB-A/C. Both top openings are filled, so this is not the covered cable-route version.

Would a front-edge flush keypad with four saved heights suit your routine?

The selected black FRM703 is flush mounted and the manufacturer documents four saved heights with one-touch recall.

Would you use documented keypad lock and travel stops?

UPLIFT lists a lock and adjustable upper/lower stops for the Advanced Comfort Flush keypad; they do not replace checking obstruction clearance.

Are a continuous minimum work depth or static rating essential?

The UPL120 drawing gives an outside-depth envelope but no uniform minimum usable depth. The frame’s 355-pound wording does not establish a static-load rating.

This is one selected UPLIFT V3 120-Degree Standing Desk (UPL120) configuration: a 1-inch Black Laminate top, black V3 C-frame with 27-inch feet, two black PDC019 power grommets and the black FRM703 Advanced Comfort Flush keypad. It is a selector state, not a separate verified SKU or stock claim.

Plan around the outline, not a rectangle

The UPL120 is a two-leg electric desk with a broad 120-degree wraparound top, not a conventional L-shaped return. UPLIFT's drawing gives 71.7 inches of overall width and a 38.4-inch maximum outside-depth envelope. Those figures describe the boundary, not a uniform working depth across the curved front and angled back. If a monitor base, keyboard tray or drawing area needs a continuous 30-inch-deep zone, the published outline does not establish that fit; measure the actual zones you intend to use.

This footprint can make sense when you want a broad reach area around one main position and have room for the outside dimensions. It is less convenient in a narrow alcove, where a straight-front top is simpler to position, and it is not a substitute for a true L desk when you need a distinct return. The selected 1-inch top is maker-labeled Black Laminate; the technical sheet identifies black low-pressure laminate. Neither the selector nor drawing supplies this top's mass, a uniform minimum depth or care instructions specific to this finish.

Four AC outlets use both openings

The top has two 3.15-inch grommet holes. This selector state fills each one with a fixed PDC019 Power Grommet with USB. Each module contains two AC receptacles plus one USB-A and one USB-C charging port, so the pair yields four AC outlets and two of each USB type at the desktop. The USB ports are for charging, not computer data. The two modules occupy both openings: this setup has no spare covered cable pass-through, open hole or storage cup.

Two black UPLIFT PDC019 power grommets shown as selector components, without an installed desk
UPLIFT's two-module selector illustration shows the PDC019 components only. It does not show the UPL120 top, frame or an installed configuration; the maker does not identify it as a photo or a rendering.

UPLIFT rates each PDC019 at 12A/120V and specifies a 10-foot cord. Its manual says to connect directly to a grounded 120V wall or floor outlet, not another power strip. Those are per-module statements; the reviewed materials do not give a combined circuit allowance for a pair, so do not add the two ratings and treat that as a shared-circuit specification. The electric frame needs its own mains connection. Plan the outlet routes and moving-cord slack before assembly.

The PDC019 instructions and specification differ on USB output rates. They agree that the ports charge devices and do not transfer data, but this review does not promise a wattage. If one outlet module plus a cable opening is more useful than four outlets, compare the UPL120 one-PDC019-and-one-cover state. Two covers provide cable routes but no power; the PDC013 pop-up package is a different system.

The flush keypad changes the control choice

The selected FRM703 sits flush at the front edge instead of projecting upward at an angle. UPLIFT describes four saved heights, one-touch recall, a lock, display, height calibration and adjustable min/max stops. A flush edge may avoid a projecting control meeting a chair or object, but it does not replace checking the desk's full travel path. The manufacturer says advanced keypads can adjust anti-collision sensitivity; that is not a guarantee against every obstruction.

The exact black FRM703 component is shown beneath a light desktop; this is not the selected Black Laminate UPL120 and not a complete desk photo. The image may be a photo or rendering.

The FRM703 instructions show mounting on either pre-drilled side with two screws, then resetting the desk after assembly. Its spec lists a 77-inch cable, molded ABS housing, molded-rubber keypad face and 15-year warranty. Choose it over Basic Display for saved heights and a flush profile; compare the UPL120 FRM066 state if you prefer an angled Advanced Comfort control.

What the published lift figures do—and do not—say

The selected top makes the maker-stated working-surface range 22.6 to 48.7 inches; the FV3-200 C-frame sheet lists 21.6 to 47.7 inches for the frame without a desktop. These are manufacturer values, not measurements of a particular assembled desk. UPLIFT publishes a 355-pound lifting-capacity figure for the frame, while its manual uses weight-limit wording. The sources do not establish a static-load rating, desktop mass or remaining equipment payload, so do not use 355 pounds as a static threshold or a promise about how much equipment can be added.

The frame manual also gives a 10-percent duty cycle. Follow its setup and movement instructions, keep cords clear of moving parts and use the reset procedure after assembly. The paired powered grommets add convenience at the surface, but they do not reduce the need to route power safely beneath a moving desk.

Who should shortlist this selector state?

Keep it in consideration if the UPL120's wraparound footprint fits your room, you want a Black Laminate top, four fixed desktop AC outlets, USB charging and a flush four-memory controller, and you can plan the three powered leads without relying on an undocumented combined circuit allowance. A 39-inch room-depth allowance accommodates the drawing's deepest outer envelope; a 38-inch allowance does not. Neither measurement proves a continuous 30-inch usable depth.

Look elsewhere if an open or covered grommet route is essential, if USB data is required, or if a known uniform work depth or static-load rating is a must-have. For the same top with raised pop-up outlets and a Basic Display keypad, see the Black Laminate PDC013 state. For four fixed outlets on Bamboo and an angled FRM066, compare the Bamboo dual-PDC019 state; it is a different top and control plan. The UPL120 outline, exact power bundle and keypad are shown in separate manufacturer images here, not together in a complete setup photo.

Paper, software and setup details

Desktop and configuration note

Exact current UPLIFT UPL120 selector state: Black Laminate 1-inch option 3842; two fixed black PDC019 power grommets bundle BUNDLE-PDC019-BLK option 18611; black V3 C-frame/27-inch feet option 20903; and black FRM703-BLK Advanced Comfort Flush keypad option 12041. Both 3.15-inch top openings are occupied by power modules. This is a selectable configuration, not a separate SKU, order or stock assertion. The outline is 71.7 inches overall by a 38.4-inch outside-depth envelope, not a uniform rectangle.

Load-rating interpretation

The 355-pound manufacturer lifting-capacity/weight-limit wording is not a static-load rating or remaining equipment payload.

Operating and setup note

Manual requires grounded power, slack cords, 1-inch clearance around moving parts, reset before initial use and an 18-minute rest after two continuous minutes of motor activity in a 20-minute period.
