A useful fit for

Best considered when the fixed 55 × 28 in desk fits the room and built-in drawers, AC/USB power and wireless charging are more important than choosing a separate desktop or frame.

The main tradeoff

The exact desk integrates storage, charging and furniture-style side panels, but the top's composition and drawer dimensions are not published. Height endpoints and the 100 lb load figure have unclear measurement bases, the manual limits movement to a 2-minute/18-minute cycle, and the page and generic manual warranty descriptions do not line up cleanly.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can I get a complete desk with AC outlets, USB charging and wireless charging built in together?

Yes for both verified Fusion Nordic finishes. The page lists five AC outlets, USB-A and USB-C; the linked manual specifies 15 W wireless charging, USB-A up to 18 W, and two USB-C ports rated 30 W and 20 W maximum. Shared USB output may decrease when several ports are used.

Can the desk fit a room that has space for a top no larger than 55 × 28 inches?

The two verified complete-desk codes both have a fixed 55 × 28 in top. A length cap below 55 inches or depth cap below 28 inches is too small.

Does the included controller save three desk heights?

Yes. The directly linked Nordic manual shows three memory buttons for the exact item codes; the product page also lists three programmable positions.

The FlexiSpot Fusion Nordic is an integrated standing desk for someone who wants storage and power built into the furniture, not a frame to pair with a separate top. The current U.S. page lists two complete-desk finish codes: natural oak FN13-R5528NO-DP and dark brown FN13-R5528DB-DP. The linked manual names both item numbers, and the page gives them the same 55-by-28-inch desktop size. This is a source-based assessment, not a hands-on test.

Storage and power are the reason to consider it

Nordic's combination is more specific than “a desk with drawers.” FlexiSpot describes three built-in drawers, a modular do-it-yourself storage layout, a hidden power panel with five AC outlets, USB-A and USB-C, and wireless phone charging. The manual identifies the wireless charger as 15 W. It labels the USB-A port 18 W maximum and two USB-C ports 30 W and 20 W maximum. FlexiSpot cautions that output per port may fall when multiple ports are used at once, so do not plan on every outlet delivering its individual maximum simultaneously.

This setup can reduce the need for a separate drawer unit and put frequently used charging close to the work surface. But the sources do not give drawer dimensions, describe exactly which drawer layouts come in the box, or specify the underlying tabletop material. The product page calls it a durable surface and shows a warm wood finish; that is not evidence of solid wood or a tested wear rating. Check the actual storage layout and material if you need to fit a particular keyboard, device, or heavy clamp. The built-in panel also does not replace a cable plan: the desk needs mains power, and its lead and attached device cables need enough slack through the full lift.

Choose it by the fixed footprint and height you can use

Both verified color SKUs are complete 55-by-28-inch desks. That is a little shorter but an inch deeper than the Fusion Stria's 59-by-27-inch Natural Oak configuration. The Nordic makes more sense when the room is capped at 55 inches long and can spare 28 inches front to back; the Stria needs the longer edge but is one inch shallower. Neither is a customizable frame-and-top system. Measure the actual room and include space for a chair, wall clearance, monitor arms and any trim before choosing a finish. A wood-look image cannot resolve whether a selected desktop will fit your room.

The manufacturer lists a 27.9-to-49.2-inch adjustment range, three-stage legs and three programmable positions. Its manual gives the same height endpoints, a 25 mm/s lift speed (about 0.98 inch per second), and a 100-pound maximum-weight figure. The sources do not explain whether the height range is measured to the frame or desktop surface, nor whether the load figure is static or dynamic or includes the desk's own top. Treat those as published specifications, not as a personalized fit or tested payload. Measure the work-surface heights that suit you seated and standing, and ask FlexiSpot how to apply its 100-pound limit before relying on it for a heavy multi-monitor setup.

Two motors and broad side-panel supports give this a different furniture silhouette from a conventional pair of T-legs. The three-stage columns offer a different travel arrangement from Stria's two-stage legs, but the manufacturer's “stable” language is not an independent wobble test. The manual specifies a two-minute operating period followed by an 18-minute rest. Its keypad stores three positions, includes a child lock and a timer, and lets the user change collision-sensor sensitivity. Sensitivity settings are not a promise that the desk will prevent every collision; keep the travel path clear and leave room for the top and attached cables to move.

Assembly, warranty and limits worth checking

The manual's assembly sequence calls for two adults, recommends putting the packaging foam under the desktop to protect it, and says to bring a Phillips screwdriver or drill. The manual says to reset the desk after connecting power before using the height controls. These details matter with a full top and drawer assembly: plan the lift, floor protection and final location before turning the desk upright.

The current page's warranty panel lists five years for frame, motor and mechanisms, five years for controller and electronics, and two years for the desktop. The manual's generic appendix instead describes five-year frame and medium-fiber-desktop coverage and three years for mechanisms for sit-stand desktop workstations; it is not an FN13-specific schedule. Because the exact terms and even the top's composition are not established by that generic language, check the written warranty for the SKU before purchasing.

Compare the Fusion Stria if a 59-by-27-inch top, fluted side supports and a simpler center drawer better suit the room; its manual documents wireless charging but does not state a wattage. The Comhar Pro Q8 is another integrated option: its reviewed white Q8W package has a 55-by-28-inch bamboo top, drawer, cable tray, 10 W wireless charging and a higher published load figure, though the basis of that figure and exact warranty coverage need care. Nordic is the clearest fit when its three-drawer furniture look and on-desk AC/USB panel are the actual requirements. If those features are optional, an ordinary adjustable frame may leave more choice in top size and material.

Paper, software and setup details

Load-rating interpretation

Page and manual both publish 100 lb maximum capacity, but neither identifies a static/dynamic basis or whether the integrated desktop is included. Do not present it as a confirmed usable payload.

Operating and setup note

The manual specifies a 10% duty cycle: work 2 minutes, then stop 18 minutes. The keypad stores three memory positions, has a child lock and 0–9 hour timer in 0.5-hour increments, and offers adjustable collision sensitivity including Off. Assembly instructions call for two adults, protective foam under the top and a customer-supplied Phillips screwdriver or drill. Reset after connecting power before first movement.
