A useful fit for

Consider the EH1 for two independently adjustable work positions with a lower published per-side capacity figure and color choices in both frame-width options, only if its unresolved height/warranty wording does not determine fit.

The main tradeoff

The listing conflicts on height range and warranty term, omits the exact U.S. manual, and does not clearly state how optional desktop components map to the two pictured work surfaces.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can two EH1 users adjust their work positions separately?

FlexiSpot says each side has its own motor and independent controls. The page describes this feature, but the exact U.S. manual is not linked for operation details.

Does the EH1 publish at least 154 pounds of capacity per side?

The current page states 154 pounds per side. It does not label the figure static or moving, so do not treat it as a measured payload allowance.

Can the EH1 be ordered as a frame without the desk tops?

The base listing is described as frame-only and displays an optional tabletop component group. Confirm whether the optional components meet your two-surface needs before checkout.

The FlexiSpot EH1 is listed in the U.S. as a Two-Person Standing Desk. Its useful idea is not simply a wider common top: the manufacturer says each work position has its own motor and independent height control. The page's current offer is a frame with optional desktop components. It can suit a shared office where the two users move at different times, but the product information needs more checking than the name suggests.

What the EH1 listing says

The specification section identifies two motors, a stated capacity of 154 pounds per side, a speed of 20 millimeters per second and a noise level below 50 dB. It also describes four memory heights, a digital display, up/down controls and an automatic safety stop. Those are manufacturer statements, not my measurements. The independent controls are the main practical feature: one person can raise or lower their side while the other desk position stays put.

There is a material conflict in the same U.S. listing. The specification table gives 28.7–48.4 inches for the height adjustment and calls 65–74 inches a recommended user-height range. The listing's embedded product-advertising text instead says 24.4–50 inches. Likewise, the specification table says a five-year warranty, while the item's short advertisement says ten years. I cannot resolve those with an exact U.S. EH1 manual: the product page links to no such manual, and the official manual index I checked did not list the EH1. Treat the height and warranty as unconfirmed until FlexiSpot confirms which statements apply to the exact U.S. frame code. I would not filter desks by an EH1 height endpoint based on this page alone.

Frame codes and top components

The current frame selector has four enabled choices: EH1B-S and EH1W-S are black or white frames marked for a 24-inch top-width setting; EH1B-B and EH1W-B are black or white frames marked for 28 inches. The frame-width adjustment range is listed as 43.7–66.5 inches. For the desktop, the page shows optional Desktop-H laminate choices in 48 × 24 inches (White, Black or Maple) and 55 × 28 inches (White, Black, Maple or Walnut Veneer). These are separate component selectors on a frame-only offer, not proof that a particular tabletop comes in the base box.

The product image depicts two separate work surfaces, but the listing does not explain in plain text whether one selected desktop component supplies one or both surfaces. Confirm the complete number of tops, selected frame width and mounting plan in writing if you need two full work surfaces. The page's compatible-desktop statement gives a 47.2–70.9-inch length and a 31.5-inch width, while the attached top options are the two sizes above. Do not assume every dimension in the compatibility range is an included size or that one optional board fills both positions.

How it compares with the E7H

The E7H is the more substantial step up in the maker's own figures: four motors rather than two, 275 rather than 154 pounds per side, and 40 rather than 20 millimeters per second. Both pages describe independent two-person movement and a noise claim below 50 dB. Those numbers could matter to a pair with heavier equipment or frequent adjustment, but they are not controlled performance tests. The E7H's exact operating manual and tabletop quantity also remain unconfirmed, so its higher published figures do not make it a fully documented system.

If a shared arrangement is unnecessary, compare a conventional single-station desk instead. The E7 is one two-leg workstation with its own top configuration; it does not provide two separately controlled positions. A single-user desk is easier to compare on footprint and top size, and avoids buying a second lift position that will sit unused.

Who should consider it?

The EH1 is a reasonable candidate when two people want separately moving positions, the 154-pound-per-side maker figure is enough for their equipment comparison, and a slower published lift speed is acceptable. Its four top-width settings and black/white frame choices give a more flexible finish selection than the all-white E7H frame codes. Measure the room and plan each user's actual surface before treating the long overall length as usable workspace; the listing does not provide a dimensioned room layout for the two positions.

It is a poor choice for someone whose seated or standing height depends on an exact low or high limit, whose desk needs an unambiguous warranty term, or who wants the lift procedure and collision behavior verified in a model-specific manual. The feature page describes an automatic safety stop, but without the exact instructions I cannot tell you how to set sensitivity, what obstacles it detects, or what the reset procedure is. Nor is the stated per-side capacity identified as a static or dynamic test rating. Keep those distinctions visible rather than converting a product-page claim into a promise.

This review is based on FlexiSpot's current U.S. product page and its option records. I did not assemble or test the desk. The official product image is a rendering, not a photograph; the light-colored surfaces shown do not identify the selected top's finish or its material core. Before purchase, get the exact EH1 manual, written height and warranty confirmation, and a clear list of included frame and tabletop pieces. If the seller cannot supply them, choose a model whose setup and fit details are documented for your needs.

Paper, software and setup details

Load-rating interpretation

FlexiSpot states 154 lb per side but does not identify this as static or moving capacity or establish a complete-system payload. It remains an advertised per-side figure, not a measured safe payload.

Operating and setup note

The page describes memory, a display and automatic safety stop, but no exact U.S. EH1 operating or assembly manual was linked or listed on the official U.S. manual page. Collision settings, safety behavior, duty cycle, reset/error handling, maintenance and exact height basis remain unverified.
