UPLIFT Treadmill Desk UPL964, 80 × 24 Maple Laminate with MVT011 review

One U.S. configuration shown on UPLIFT’s UPL964 Treadmill Desk listing: an 80 × 24-inch, 1-inch Maple Laminate top, white V3 C-frame with 24-inch feet, white FRM703-WHT flush keypad, black FRM068-BLK Wireless Foot Switch, two white grommet covers and the required MVT011 Inclining Walking Pad. The selector code UPL964-maple-lam-80x24 identifies this displayed option state, not a separate assembled retail SKU, completed order or combination-level availability.

A useful fit for

A U.S. household that needs an 80-inch-long, 24-inch-deep Maple Laminate desktop in a UPLIFT listing with MVT011 selected, can accommodate the long top and can reserve the pad’s independent 36-inch rear and 12-inch side clearances. Check the actual completed work-surface height over the raised belt and the specific room before treating it as a fit.

The main tradeoff

The top provides eight more inches of length than the reviewed 72 × 24 Maple plan without adding depth. Its Maple Laminate finish is not solid maple, and its two white grommet covers sit over openings rather than making an uncut top or adding power. The selected FRM703 offers four saved desk heights and the separate FRM068 controls desk up/down, not pad speed. MVT011 clearance/power requirements apply; finished work-surface height above the belt and its reconciled user-weight limit remain unknown.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Do you need an 80-inch-long surface but want the top no deeper than 24 inches?

This plan is 80 × 24 inches: eight inches longer than the 72 × 24 option without extra depth. It does not meet an 81-inch length minimum.

Can you reserve the walking pad’s full operating clearance?

The MVT011 instructions call for 36 inches behind the pad and 12 inches at each side. Eleven inches at a side is not enough.

Explore this need in the finder →
Do four saved desk heights meet your control needs?

The selected flush FRM703 keypad documents four saved positions; FRM068 adds desk up/down movement, not a fifth memory.

Explore this need in the finder →
Is a laminate surface acceptable, or is solid wood essential?

The selected name is Maple Laminate, not solid maple. Choose laminate if that is acceptable; a solid-wood requirement excludes this top.

Do you need cable openings that have covers, or must the surface be uncut?

The selected desktop has two white grommet covers over openings. It can meet a covered cable-route need but not a no-hole desktop requirement.

This UPLIFT Treadmill Desk configuration pairs an 80 × 24-inch, one-inch Maple Laminate desktop with a white V3 C-frame using the 24-inch feet option, a white FRM703 flush keypad, a black FRM068 wireless foot switch, two white grommet covers and the MVT011 Inclining Walking Pad. The manufacturer's configuration page shows those selections together. That is a configurable listing state, not a promise of present stock, a completed order or a separately identified assembled-desk SKU.

An unusually long worktop that stays shallow

The 80-inch long side is the defining choice. It adds eight inches over the reviewed 72 × 24 version without adding any front-to-back depth. That can help a shared monitor setup or a wide keyboard-and-writing area if the room has a long, clear wall. It does not create more room between the user and a monitor stand: at 24 inches deep, the worktop is still a shallow surface. Measure the footprint with the monitor bases, keyboard, mouse, and any clamp-on arm in place; an arm's clamp and the rear edge can compete for the same narrow strip.

“Maple” is the selected Maple Laminate finish, not a solid maple board. The top is listed at one inch thick and has two covered cable openings. The covers give wires a route through the surface, but they do not make it uncut, and they are not built-in AC outlets or USB ports. If your essential choice is solid wood, a hole-free desktop, or more than 24 inches of depth, this configuration does not meet it.

Desk dimensions do not set the walking area

The MVT011 pad measures 48 × 20.25 × 5.25 inches. Those figures make the top eight inches longer and 3.75 inches deeper than the pad's overall dimensions, but they are not an installation drawing. They do not show where the frame feet, pad, user, or treadmill belt should sit relative to one another. Do not treat the extra desktop length as safe pad overhang or assume that the pad can be placed under the center of the desk without checking the actual room.

Plan the pad's floor clearance independently from the tabletop. Its instructions call for 36 inches behind the pad and 12 inches at each side, and require a grounded 120V outlet for the pad itself; adapters and extension cords are not allowed. Mark that operating envelope on the floor, including the walking path and nearby doors or furniture, before choosing a long desk. An 80-inch desktop can fit along a wall while the pad's safety space still does not. The MVT011 instructions are the useful reference for that room check.

Desk controls and pad controls remain separate

The FRM703-WHT keypad sits flush at the desktop edge and documents four saved desk positions. FRM068-BLK adds foot-operated desk up/down movement; it does not select those stored heights and does not run the treadmill. The MVT011 has its own remote and its own operating range, listed at 0.6 to 4 mph with incline settings up to 7 percent. That division is useful if you want to move the desk without reaching for the keypad, but it is not one shared control system. The foot switch needs two AAA batteries, sold separately, and should be placed where it cannot become a trip hazard.

Keep capacity and reach as open questions

The V3 C-frame specification lists a 355-pound lifting-capacity figure. That is not a published static-load rating or a statement that 355 pounds remain available after the desktop and equipment are counted. The desk's lifting figure and the pad user's body-weight limit describe different things. UPLIFT's MVT011 specification states 243 pounds, while its instructions say not to exceed 240 pounds; those primary documents conflict, so neither number should be treated here as a reconciled threshold.

The finished work-surface height while a person stands on the raised belt is also not confirmed for this complete arrangement. A bare-frame range cannot answer that reach question. If a particular surface height or user-weight limit is essential, ask the manufacturer for the exact combination or measure it before relying on the desk-and-pad pairing. Unknown is not a fit guarantee.

Who should compare a different size

Choose this option to investigate when 80 inches of side-to-side work area is valuable, 24 inches of depth is enough, and both the desk footprint and MVT011 clearances fit. The reviewed 72 × 24 Maple plan is the more sensible comparison if eight inches of length would crowd a wall or room opening. If you need deeper monitor or writing space, compare a conventional desk with a deeper top rather than assuming this treadmill package can solve that need. And if your room cannot reserve the pad's independent clearance, choose another work-and-movement arrangement; a longer desktop does not reduce it.

Operating and setup note

The captured UPLIFT selector state marks Maple Laminate 4867, 80 × 24 desktop 19769, two white covers 3941, white V3 C-frame with 24-inch feet 20605, white FRM703 12042, black FRM068 10561 and required MVT011 21437 together. No optional hammock was selected. Selector code UPL964-maple-lam-80x24 identifies the displayed state, not a separate assembled SKU, completed order or combination-level stock. The 80-inch top adds 8 inches of length over the reviewed 72 × 24 plan without extra depth; the selected 24-inch depth is 3.75 inches greater than the MVT011 20.25-inch width, not a placement drawing. The MVT011’s 36-inch rear / 12-inch side clearance and separate grounded 120V power requirements apply. FRM703 documents four saved heights; FRM068 moves desk up/down, not pad speed. Completed surface height above the raised belt, usable payload and the manual/spec 240/243 lb user-weight conflict remain unknown.
