UPLIFT Treadmill Desk UPL964, 48 × 24 Maple Laminate with FRM703 keypad review

One manually assessed option state on UPLIFT’s configurable UPL964 Treadmill Desk listing: a manufacturer-labeled 48 × 24-inch, 1-inch Maple Laminate top, white V3 C-frame with 24-inch feet, Advanced Comfort Flush Keypad, black wireless foot switch, two white grommet covers and required MVT011 Inclining Walking Pad. The archived selector shows these values in one page state; it does not establish a completed order or current combination availability. The MVT011 needs separate power and substantial open floor clearance, and its documented user-weight limit conflicts between manual and specification.

A useful fit for

A U.S. buyer who wants the 48-inch top length but has a strict 24-inch desktop-depth limit, prefers the white FRM703 flush keypad with four saved positions, and will use the separate FRM068 up/down pedal. The selected 24-inch-foot frame is an exact part of this plan. The buyer must still verify pad placement, walking clearance, outlets and comfortable work-surface reach above the belt.

The main tradeoff

The 48 × 24-inch laminate top is shallower than the reviewed 48 × 30-inch Maple plan, and the exact selector state pairs it with 24-inch feet rather than the other plan’s 27.5-inch feet. That can help where a 30-inch surface intrudes, but leaves less front-to-back room for displays and writing. The 48-inch MVT011 has a 20.25-inch width; those dimensions do not establish clearances or user reach. The included MVT011 calls for 36 inches behind and 12 inches at each side and requires its own grounded outlet. Two covered grommet openings are not an uncut top or power. Finished surface height above the belt, usable payload, and the 240/243-pound MVT011 manual/spec conflict remain unresolved.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Does a fixed 48 × 24-inch Maple Laminate desktop suit your room and walking setup?

This exact selector state shows a 48 × 24-inch, one-inch Maple Laminate top and required MVT011. Its 24-inch depth is not the walking pad footprint; plan the pad’s separate floor clearance.

Do you want a white flush keypad with four saved heights plus a separate foot control?

FRM703-WHT is the flush four-position keypad; selected FRM068-BLK provides separate up/down desk movement, not saved-height selection or walking-pad speed control.

Explore this need in the finder →
Can a 24-inch desktop depth work for your screens and writing area?

This plan is shallower than the 48 × 30 version but still has a 48-inch long side. Check monitor bases, keyboard reach and your walking stance before treating the 24-inch dimension as a room-fit answer.

Do you need the completed work surface to reach a specified height while you stand on the pad?

A completed minimum surface height above the raised belt is not established for this selected arrangement. The exact essential threshold therefore remains unknown and must not match.

This review covers one selected option state on UPLIFT’s configurable UPL964 Treadmill Desk: a 48 × 24-inch, one-inch Maple Laminate top; white V3 C-frame with 24-inch feet; white FRM703 Advanced Comfort Flush Keypad; black FRM068 Wireless Foot Switch; two white grommet covers; and the required MVT011 Inclining Walking Pad. The manufacturer selector showed those choices together, but the saved page is not a completed cart or proof that this combination is currently available.

UPLIFT manufacturer scene showing a light worktop, white frame and MVT011 walking pad
This is an UPLIFT Treadmill Desk/MVT011 family image, not a photograph of the exact 48 × 24-inch plan. It does not reveal the 24-inch feet, keypad, grommet covers or top dimensions, and UPLIFT does not identify the scene as a photograph or render.

The shallow surface is the main reason to choose it

The useful distinction from the reviewed 48 × 30-inch Maple plan is not a different lift system; it is six inches less tabletop depth, together with the selector’s 24-inch-foot frame option. That is a meaningful fit choice for a room where a 30-inch-deep workstation would intrude into circulation space. It also leaves less front-to-back room for monitors, notebooks and a keyboard. A wide display with a deep stand can consume a surprising share of a 24-inch surface, so sketch your screen base, keyboard and writing area before deciding that a shorter desktop solves the room problem.

The selected desktop is labelled “Maple Laminate 1inch,” not a solid maple slab. Its 48-inch length remains substantial even though the depth is compact. The MVT011 itself is 48 inches long by 20.25 inches wide, so its front-to-back dimension is close to the desktop’s 24-inch depth. That arithmetic is not a clearance drawing: the frame legs, walking position, screen reach and required open floor area still need to be checked in the room. Do not infer from the selector alone that every user’s preferred pad position will feel comfortable under this shallow top.

A flush control and a separate foot switch

UPLIFT’s option list identifies the white FRM703 Advanced Comfort Flush keypad. Its product information documents four one-touch saved-height positions. That is useful if you return to a seated and standing setting and perhaps two other heights, but it does not tell you the completed work-surface height while you are standing on the raised pad. Set and test the controls after assembly with your actual footwear, monitor and chair positions rather than treating a saved number as an ergonomic measurement.

The additional black FRM068 is a separate up/down foot control. The manufacturer instructions describe it as movement control for the desk; it does not choose the FRM703 presets or change the MVT011 walking speed. Keep its pedal outside the belt approach and ordinary walking path. If you seldom adjust the desk while your hands are occupied, this selector state includes an accessory you may not need. The two white grommet covers also indicate openings in the desktop, not a no-hole finish, a storage cup or an outlet. Pick a different option when an uncut surface or integrated charging is essential.

Plan the pad as equipment, not a desktop feature

The included MVT011 has a 39.4 × 15.4-inch belt, 0.6–4 mph speed settings and ten incline levels up to 7 percent. Its instructions call for 36 inches of clear floor behind it and 12 inches at each side. The pad needs its own grounded 120-volt outlet, and the manual prohibits an extension cord or adapter. The desk lift also needs power; map both outlets and cord routes before placing the workstation. The pad’s 48-inch length does not fit inside the 24-inch desktop depth, and the two dimensions describe different axes, so measure the actual under-desk and walking arrangement rather than comparing those numbers as if they were interchangeable.

Two important fit facts remain unavailable for this exact combination. First, a confirmed completed work-surface height above the raised belt is not supplied by the bare-frame range; if your minimum standing surface height is non-negotiable, this plan cannot meet that hard condition on the evidence here. Second, the MVT011 manual states a 240-pound maximum user weight while its specification says 243 pounds. Neither threshold is used as a positive matcher value until UPLIFT reconciles the conflict. The frame’s advertised lifting capacity is likewise not a static-load rating or usable payload after the desktop, controls and equipment.

Who should compare this configuration?

Compare it if you need a 48-inch-long work area but have a strict limit on desktop depth, want the white FRM703’s flush four-position control, and will use the separate foot switch. The finder should distinguish this plan from the 48 × 30-inch Maple version: the latter has more depth and 27.5-inch feet, while this selector state pairs its 24-inch surface with 24-inch feet. Both still require the MVT011’s generous floor clearances, its own outlet and a comfortable reach over the belt.

Choose another option if you need more writing depth, a hole-free top, a verified work-surface height over the pad or a resolved walking-pad weight limit. The 48 × 30 Maple/FRM703 configuration preserves the same length and control style while adding depth; the separately reviewed Acacia plan changes the surface material and keypad. If walking is not central to your routine, a conventional sit-stand desk avoids the MVT011’s clearance and separate-power requirements. These are distinct setups on a configurable manufacturer page, not evidence that any one combination is in stock today.

Paper, software and setup details

Operating and setup note

The exact archived selector response marks Maple Laminate 4867, 48×24 desktop 19766, two white covers 3941, white V3 C-frame 24-inch feet 20605, white FRM703 12042, black FRM068 10561 and required MVT011 21437 selected together. A separate 27.5-inch-feet query did not show that value selected/available in the rendered frame control and is not recommended as this plan. FRM068 is separate up/down desk control, not preset selection or pad-speed control. MVT011 needs a grounded 120V outlet with no extension/adapter and requires clearance. Current combination availability, finished surface height above the belt, usable payload and a reconciled MVT011 user-weight limit remain unknown.
