A useful fit for

A U.S. buyer who needs a 48-inch worktop but wants the shallower 24-inch depth, intends to use the included MVT011 walking pad, and prefers the FRM055 paddle controller’s two saved desk heights and timed sitting/standing reminders over the FRM703 four-preset flush panel. This plan does not include a separate wireless foot switch. Confirm finished work-surface height over the raised belt, floor clearance and the pad’s safe user-weight limit before relying on those fit details.

The main tradeoff

The 48 × 24-inch laminate top retains four feet of length but trims depth for rooms where a 30-inch worktop protrudes; it leaves less space for monitor stands, keyboard reach and notes. The key difference from the FRM703 plan is an angled paddle and two saved positions, not four positions plus a separate foot switch. Two covered grommets are not an outlet or an uncut top. The V3 frame’s 355 lb figure is lifting capacity, not a static rating or usable payload. Height over the pad belt is not established and the MVT011 manual/spec user limit conflicts at 240/243 lb.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can you leave the documented space and power for the included MVT011 walking pad?

The selected plan includes MVT011. Its instructions call for 36 inches behind the belt, 12 inches at each side and a separate grounded 120 V outlet. Check the whole floor layout, not only the 48 × 24 desktop.

Do you want the FRM055 paddle with two saved desk positions and timed sitting/standing reminders?

This exact page state selects the black FRM055B paddle keypad. Its instructions describe two stored heights and separate timers; neither the keypad nor its reminders control MVT011 speed.

Explore this need in the finder →
Do you need a separate hands-free wireless foot switch as well?

No wireless foot switch is selected in this exact response. Choose a plan that documents a separate switch if that feature is essential.

Explore this need in the finder →
Is a 24-inch-deep Maple Laminate desktop enough for your monitors and writing area?

The option state is a 48 × 24-inch Maple Laminate 1-inch surface. Plan monitor stands, keyboard reach, writing space and the pad footprint separately.

Explore this need in the finder →
Must your completed desk surface reach a specific height above the walking belt?

This frame’s bare-height figure does not state the completed surface height above the raised belt. A strict minimum remains unknown and cannot match.

Does your walking-pad weight requirement depend on an exact published limit?

The MVT011 manual says 240 lb and the specification sheet says 243 lb. The discrepancy is unresolved; do not treat either as an adjudicated safety threshold.

Do you need a controller lock or a user-set travel limit?

This exact configuration includes the FRM055B Advanced Paddle Keypad. Its manual documents both Lock mode and upper/lower height limits; neither is presented as a collision sensor or child-safety certification.

This assessment covers one option state on UPLIFT’s configurable Treadmill Desk listing: UPL964 with a 48 × 24-inch, one-inch Maple Laminate desktop, white V3 C-frame with 24-inch feet, two white grommet covers, black FRM055 Advanced Paddle Keypad and the required MVT011 Inclining Walking Pad. The manufacturer page shows those choices together, but is not a completed order or proof of current combination-level availability. No separate wireless foot switch is selected. The meaningful difference from the similar 48 × 24 FRM703 plan is the controller, not the frame or pad.

This UPLIFT treadmill-desk family image shows a light-toned desk, white frame and black pad, but does not establish this option state’s desktop size, Maple Laminate surface, 24-inch feet or FRM055 keypad. UPLIFT does not say whether the scene is a photograph or rendering.

Choose the paddle for its two-position routine

FRM055 is an angled paddle controller rather than the flush FRM703 selected in the neighboring 48 × 24 plan. The FRM055B instructions describe two saved desk positions: one below 35.5 inches and another at or above that point. A double tap moves the desk toward a saved position. Separate sitting and standing reminders can be set for 10, 20, 30, 60 or 120 minutes; the manual says the timers need to be set again at the start of each day. Those prompts are a convenience, not evidence that a particular schedule suits everyone.

The two-position limit matters. The FRM703 plan offers four saved positions and a separate FRM068 up/down foot switch; this selection offers neither. If you routinely use three or four desk heights, the FRM703 review is the better-documented fit. If you prefer a raised-and-lowered paddle that is easy to find without looking down, plus simple reminders, FRM055 has a more deliberate control shape. It moves the desk frame only; nothing in the selected page or keypad manual says it starts, stops or changes the MVT011 belt.

The 24-inch top saves depth, not floor space

The 48 × 24 worktop can fit a narrower room better than a 30-inch-deep desktop while retaining four feet of length. But two feet of depth is not generous once a monitor stand, keyboard, mouse and notes share the surface. Check the screen-to-keyboard reach and where your forearms land. The selected surface is labeled Maple Laminate 1-inch; it is not a solid maple slab. The two white grommet covers mean two covered openings, not an uncut desktop, outlets or a built-in charging panel.

The worktop does not contain the walking footprint. The included MVT011 is a separate 48-inch-long pad, 20.25 inches wide and 5.25 inches high. Its instructions call for 36 inches of open space behind it, 12 inches at each side and a separate grounded 120-volt outlet. The pad is listed up to 4 mph and 7% incline, but the desk keypad does not control its pace or incline. Sketch the top, pad and rear clearance together before choosing this comparatively shallow work surface.

Height and load remain important unknowns

The frame specification gives a 355-pound lifting-capacity figure. That is not a static-load rating or remaining capacity after the desktop and equipment. UPLIFT’s MVT011 documents also disagree about maximum user weight: the manual says 240 pounds, while the specification sheet says 243. Neither is used here as a safe threshold. If the maximum affects your decision, get written clarification from UPLIFT before relying on the bundle.

The selected C-frame feet and its bare-frame range do not establish the finished desktop height above the raised belt. A desk that reaches a suitable height for someone standing on the floor could still sit too low over a pad. If you need a minimum surface height or have a strict reach requirement, consider this plan unresolved until you verify the complete top-to-belt relationship. The FRM055 presets cannot solve a frame that does not reach your working height.

Who should compare this plan with the others

This option makes sense only if 48 inches of length and 24 inches of depth fit your equipment, the pad clearances fit the room, and two saved positions are enough. Compare the 48 × 24 FRM703 plan if four presets or a separate foot switch matter. Compare the 42 × 30 FRM068 plan if more front-to-back desktop room matters more than a longer top. A regular V3 desk without a walking-pad bundle avoids the pad’s floor area and second outlet. Each alternative still needs an honest height and walking-user fit check.

Installation is part of the controller choice

FRM055B’s manual shows the paddle cable plugging into the frame control box and gives instructions for the maker’s pre-drilled keypad positions. For a custom location it limits any pilot hole to half an inch deep and cautions against overtightening. A newly assembled desk also needs the keypad’s reset procedure. Leave cable slack so the moving frame cannot snag it. The grommet covers do not replace cable planning, and this state has no wireless foot switch. Choose a documented switch-equipped option instead if you want separate foot operation.

Operating and setup note

The exact archived current UPLIFT selected-state response shows Maple Laminate 4867, 48×24 desktop 19766, two white covers 3941, white V3 C-frame 24-inch feet 20605, black FRM055 Advanced Paddle option 8984, and required MVT011 21437 together. No FRM068/FRM268 foot-switch value is selected. UPLIFT page code UPL964-maple-lam-48x24 is a selector code, not a separately verified assembled retail SKU, completed cart or combination-level stock claim. FRM055 moves desk height only, not pad speed. Finished surface height above the belt, usable payload and the pad’s 240/243 lb maximum-user discrepancy remain unknown.
