UPLIFT Pneumatic 48 × 30 Whiteboard Desk with Two Storage Grommets review

A current U.S. selector combination pairing the one-inch Whiteboard TOP310 desktop and manually raised black FRM240 pneumatic frame with two ACC059 storage grommets. Selector values 6916 (black), 6922 (white) and 6919 (gray) change the cup finish only; all three use both desktop openings for small-item storage and select no electrical power module.

A useful fit for

For someone who will use two compact desktop storage cups, values the documented dry-erase top and wants a manually raised desk without a powered lift, while not needing built-in outlets or USB.

The main tradeoff

Both desktop openings are consumed by ACC059 cups, leaving no opening for power, cable pass-through, or a cover. The actual top is 47.2 × 29.5 inches, the lift is manual, and the 55 lb dynamic rating includes the desktop; clearance below the cups is not numerically established.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Would you actually use two small desktop storage cups?

The selector offers two ACC059 cups in black option 6916, white option 6922, or gray option 6919. Each pair fills both TOP310 openings; the color changes the finish, not storage function. They are compact cups, not drawers.

Do you need built-in AC or USB at the desk?

No power module is selected in this option; both openings are storage cups. Choose another configuration if desktop outlets or USB are essential.

Explore this need in the finder →
Can you use a 47.2 × 29.5-inch writing surface with two openings occupied?

The TOP310 sheet gives actual 47.2 × 29.5 dimensions, although the selector calls it 48 × 30. Two cups interrupt the dry-erase surface and use both cutouts.

Explore this need in the finder →
Do the FRM240’s published load figure and manual lift suit your constraints?

The sheet separates 55 lb dynamic from 220 lb static and says both include the top. The hand-paddle pneumatic lift does not need mains power; do not treat the static figure as spare payload.

Can you check below both storage cups before choosing this top?

The manufacturer image confirms two cups at the top, but the sources do not state a numeric below-ring clearance. Check the actual rails, nearby walls and stored items before installation.

UPLIFT Pneumatic · Whiteboard top · two storage cups

This selector-defined arrangement pairs the one-inch TOP310 Whiteboard desktop with a black FRM240 pneumatic frame and two black ACC059 storage grommets. It keeps the lift manual and uses both desktop openings for small-item cups, with no built-in power module.

Both holes become small storage spaces

The point of this configuration is unusually specific: both openings in the selected TOP310 desktop are fitted with black ACC059 Storage Grommets. In the UPLIFT selector, value 6916 is labeled “KIT-ACC059x2-BLK > 2 Storage - Black.” That separates it from the nearby one-storage-and-one-cover choice and from bundles that trade one opening for power. The selector establishes a configurable option, not a separate retail SKU or an Amazon identifier.

The live U.S. selector also lists white cups (6922, KIT-ACC059x2-WHT) and gray cups (6919, KIT-ACC059x2-GRY). These change only cup color; the TOP310, FRM240, manual lift and storage function stay the same. Choose a finish to suit the desktop, not for extra capacity or power. The illustrations below show the components, not the assembled desk. The finder covers this shared two-cup function but does not select a color.

Two cups make sense when a desk regularly collects small items and you would rather keep them in defined spots than leave them loose on the work surface. The manufacturer describes ACC059 for a drink or small supplies. Its drawing gives an interior about 2.9 inches across and 2.3 inches deep, with a wider lip; think of a compact cup, not a drawer or a place for bulky equipment. Two cups can hold two separate items, but they also consume both built-in openings. This arrangement does not leave one opening free for a cable pass-through, a power grommet, or a cover.

The dry-erase surface is useful, but not uninterrupted

UPLIFT identifies the TOP310 Whiteboard Laminate top for dry-erase writing. The option is named 48 by 30 inches, while its desktop sheet lists actual dimensions of 47.2 by 29.5 inches and a one-inch thickness. Use the measured figures when planning a wall gap, monitor arm, chair approach, or writing area; the nominal name should not be treated as a 30-inch actual depth. The grommet openings themselves are interruptions, so a person who wants an entirely open writing surface should compare a different top or a no-grommet selection.

The one-inch top falls within both thickness ranges stated for ACC059, even though the storage page and its instruction sheet disagree about the general range. That supports this selected thickness, not every alternative desktop. The manufacturer’s dimensions for the cup are useful for small-object fit, but the sources do not give a numerical clearance envelope below the locking ring. Check the frame, a wall, shelves, cable bundles, and anything stored beneath the desktop rather than assuming the cups fit any under-desk arrangement.

Manual adjustment and no integrated outlet

The black FRM240 raises the top with synchronized pneumatic pistons and a hand paddle. There is no electric lifting motor or memory keypad in this plan. The lift itself needs no mains power, and, unlike a powered-grommet bundle, this selection has no integrated AC outlets or USB ports to connect. That is a useful distinction for a workspace where a power strip or charging station is already handled separately, or where the desk should not require an outlet just to change height.

With this one-inch top and no casters, UPLIFT’s FRM240 specification gives a work-surface range of 29.75 to 46 inches. Measure your own seated and standing setup against the lower and upper ends; adding casters would change the installed height and is not part of this selector plan. The same frame sheet separates 55 pounds dynamic from 220 pounds static, and both figures include the desktop. The larger static figure is not available payload for equipment, and it is not the moving-load limit. These are manufacturer ratings, not our test measurements.

Who should choose two cups?

Choose this option if both storage openings solve a real organization problem and fixed desktop power is not a requirement. It is a poor fit if either opening must remain available for a cord, if you need built-in outlets or USB, if a 30-inch actual top depth is essential, or if the FRM240’s manual paddle and 55-pound dynamic rating do not fit your routine. Two openings are not automatically better than one: a single storage cup plus a power module or a pass-through cover may be more useful when charging and cable routing matter more than a second small-item space.

Compare the one-ACC059 fixed-power bundle when you want a cup and built-in USB/AC, while remembering that its power module requires a grounded outlet. A pop-up-power selection is another distinct arrangement, not a capability to assume for this two-cup option. If writing directly on the desktop is secondary, an ordinary laminate surface can avoid paying attention to Whiteboard care guidance. The practical decision is whether you will use both compact cups enough to justify occupying every opening; the selector illustration confirms two black components, but it cannot tell you how they will fit around your own frame rails or accessories.

Paper, software and setup details

Desktop and configuration note

UPLIFT selector value 34635 is Whiteboard Laminate 1-inch TOP310, nominal 48 × 30 and actual 47.2 × 29.5 inches; grommet value 6916 is KIT-ACC059x2-BLK, two black ACC059 Storage Grommets; black FRM240 option 14687 is selected with no casters. Both desktop openings are occupied by storage cups. The selector option value is not a retail SKU or ASIN.

Load-rating interpretation

FRM240 values are 55 lb dynamic and 220 lb static, each inclusive of desktop weight; neither is a remaining equipment payload.

Operating and setup note

The hand paddle operates the synchronized pneumatic lift. This selector option has no powered lift and selects no desktop outlet or USB module.
