UPLIFT Pneumatic 48 × 30 Whiteboard Desk with Storage Grommet and Cable Cover review

A current U.S. selector combination pairs a one-inch Whiteboard TOP310 desktop and manually raised black FRM240 pneumatic frame with one storage grommet and one cable cover. Black option 6915, white option 6921 and gray option 6918 vary the accessory finish only; no powered module is selected.

A useful fit for

For someone who will use one small storage cup and one covered cable route, wants the TOP310 dry-erase surface, and prefers the outlet-free manual FRM240 lift without built-in desk power.

The main tradeoff

One opening is consumed by an ACC059 cup and one by the ACC011 cover, leaving no free grommet opening or integrated AC/USB. The top measures 47.2 × 29.5 inches, the lift is manual, and clearance beneath the cup/cover hardware is not numerically stated. The selector names ACC011 while the current standalone page uses ACC088; do not assume those part codes are interchangeable.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Would one compact cup and one cable-through opening solve different daily needs?

Option 6915 is KIT-ACC059-ACC011-BLK: one black ACC059 storage cup plus a black rotating ACC011 cable cover. It is not the adjacent two-cup option and neither part supplies power.

Do you need two storage cups rather than a separate cable route?

Only one opening is fitted with an ACC059 cup; the other has a cable cover. Choose the distinct 6916 two-storage option if two cups are essential.

Can the actual 29.5-inch-deep top fit your room?

The nominal 48 × 30 TOP310 specification gives actual dimensions of 47.2 × 29.5 inches. A true 30-inch minimum excludes this option.

Do you need integrated AC or USB charging?

The cable cover routes a cord; it is not an outlet or USB module. This exact plan has no built-in power panel.

Will you check the cable and the underside as the surface moves?

A cable cover gives a path through the top but no under-desk cable management. The manufacturer does not state numeric clearance below the grommet hardware; allow cable slack for full travel and check nearby rails.

UPLIFT Pneumatic · Whiteboard top · one storage cup and one cable cover

This selector combination uses a black FRM240 manual frame under the one-inch TOP310 Whiteboard desktop. Of its two grommet openings, one holds a black ACC059 storage cup and the other has a black ACC011 cover that can open for cable routing. Neither opening provides built-in electricity.

A split between a small-item cup and a cable route

UPLIFT’s U.S. selector assigns value 6915 to “KIT-ACC059-ACC011-BLK,” labeled “Storage + Cover - Black.” It is a different choice from the adjacent 6916 option, which puts two storage cups into the two openings. Here, one opening becomes a small cup for a drink or desk odds and ends; the other can route a cord through the desktop and close with a rotating cover when no cable is passing through. That is the useful middle ground if you want one small storage spot without giving up every opening to storage.

The ACC059 is compact, not a substitute for a drawer. Its manufacturer drawing gives an interior around 2.9 inches across and 2.3 inches deep, so think pens, small accessories, or a cup-sized item rather than a larger device. The cover’s job is different: it organizes a cable crossing the desktop and closes the opening when unused. It does not contain AC outlets or USB charging. The selected plan has no built-in power panel, and cable pass-through should not be mistaken for a powered grommet.

The surface dimensions and interruptions still matter

The selector calls the desktop nominally 48 by 30 inches. The TOP310 Whiteboard specification gives actual dimensions of 47.2 by 29.5 inches and one-inch thickness. Use the actual figures when the last half-inch matters for a wall, a neighboring cabinet, or a tightly fitted monitor arm. UPLIFT describes this surface for dry-erase use, but the two cutouts mean that the writing area is not one uninterrupted rectangle. One is occupied by the storage cup; the other has the cable cover. If you want to write over the entire surface or prefer no openings, look at a different desktop configuration.

UPLIFT’s official grommet guide for ACC011 lists a 3.15-inch hole, molded ABS, a 3.75-inch lip and a desktop thickness range of three-quarters to one-and-three-quarters inches. The one-inch TOP310 is inside that stated range. The ACC059 product page and its instruction sheet disagree about the general thickness limits, but the selected one-inch desktop falls within both. The manufacturer sources do not give a numerical clearance below the locking hardware; check the underside around rails, stored items and any accessories before installation.

Manual lift, no integrated power

The black FRM240 frame raises the surface using a hand paddle and synchronized pneumatic pistons. It is not an electric lift and does not need an outlet for height adjustment. With the one-inch top and no casters selected, the frame specification gives a work-surface range of 29.75 to 46 inches. Measure your own seated and standing positions against those endpoints; a nominal desktop size alone does not establish that the low position will work for every chair or that the high position will suit every user.

UPLIFT distinguishes a 55-pound dynamic rating from a 220-pound static rating, and says both include the desktop. The larger static number is not the moving-load limit or spare equipment capacity. These are manufacturer ratings, not independent load-test results. Also plan where a routed cord will go as the desk moves. Leave enough slack for the full range and keep it clear of the frame; the grommet cover does not manage the cable under the desk.

Three grommet finishes, one arrangement

The selector offers white option 6921 (KIT-ACC059-ACC011-WHT) and gray option 6918 (KIT-ACC059-ACC011-GRY) alongside black 6915. Each changes only the grommet-piece finish; the Whiteboard top, black frame, two opening functions, manual lift and no-power arrangement stay the same. The current standalone ACC088 name still differs from the bundle’s ACC011 label, so do not assume a replacement-part match.

Who should choose this option?

This arrangement suits someone who will use one compact storage cup, occasionally route a cable through the other opening, wants the Whiteboard surface, and is comfortable with a manual lift and separate charging setup. Choose the two-cup option if organizing two small items matters more than cable routing. Choose a power-grommet bundle if integrated AC or USB is essential, but confirm that its selected power module and one remaining accessory can occupy the intended openings together. A no-grommet version avoids cutouts altogether, while an ordinary laminate top may be a better fit if dry-erase writing is not part of the routine.

There is one naming detail worth keeping straight: the selector option assessed here explicitly calls the cover ACC011. UPLIFT’s standalone Grommet Cover page now uses the identifier ACC088, while its official pricing and specification guide identifies ACC011. Do not assume those identifiers are interchangeable when looking for a separate replacement part; confirm the exact part with UPLIFT. The selected desk bundle itself remains the archived option 6915, not a retail SKU or an ASIN. Before choosing it, check your real top-depth need, load, preferred lift method, cable path and space beneath both openings.

Paper, software and setup details

Desktop and configuration note

UPLIFT selector value 34635 is one-inch Whiteboard Laminate TOP310, nominal 48 × 30 and actual 47.2 × 29.5 inches; grommet option 6915 is KIT-ACC059-ACC011-BLK (one black ACC059 storage grommet plus one black ACC011 cover); black FRM240 option 14687 is selected with no casters. One opening is storage and one is cable pass-through; no integrated power module is selected. Selector value is not a retail SKU or ASIN.

Load-rating interpretation

FRM240 values are 55 lb dynamic and 220 lb static, each inclusive of desktop weight; neither is a remaining equipment payload.

Operating and setup note

The hand paddle operates the synchronized pneumatic lift. This selector option has no powered lift and selects no desktop outlet or USB module.
