UPLIFT Pneumatic 48 × 30 Whiteboard Desk with PDC002 Power and Gray Storage Grommets review

A nominal 48 × 30-inch TOP310 Whiteboard desktop on UPLIFT’s black manual FRM240 frame, with selector option 6920 pairing a gray two-outlet PDC002 Power Grommet and a gray ACC059 Storage Grommet. The power insert is not a USB charger or pop-up module; its outlet rating is left unresolved because the manufacturer’s instruction sheet and specification sheet disagree.

A useful fit for

For someone who wants a dry-erase surface, a manually adjusted lift, two built-in AC outlets, and one small storage cup in a defined two-opening arrangement. The outlet module requires a grounded connection; the lift does not. Confirm that the actual 47.2 × 29.5-inch desktop and the module’s unresolved rated-current discrepancy fit your room and equipment needs.

The main tradeoff

Both TOP310 openings are used, and this plan has no cable-cover opening, USB charging, or pop-up outlet. PDC002 documentation conflicts on current limit (10 A versus 15 A), so its load ceiling is not established here. Its 58-inch cord needs a direct grounded outlet and movement slack; the FRM240 lift is manual, not powered or programmable. The small ACC059 cup is not a drawer, and the published accessory thickness limits conflict, though the one-inch top fits both.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Do you need two desktop AC outlets plus a separate small-item storage cup on the Whiteboard top?

Selector option 6920 is labeled KIT-ACC059-PDC002-GRY, Power + Storage - Gray. It pairs two-outlet gray PDC002 with one gray ACC059 cup. PDC002 has no USB ports, so this is not the AC/USB panel option.

Is a pop-up outlet essential, rather than a fixed outlet face?

PDC002 is installed flush in the opening but does not rise for use. This bundle is not the pop-up PDC013 arrangement.

Explore this need in the finder →
Will the stated 58-inch PDC002 cord cover a four-foot outlet route while leaving movement slack?

The maker lists 58 inches (4 feet 10 inches), so it clears a four-foot minimum but not a five-foot minimum. Measure the safe route and leave travel slack; plug directly into a grounded outlet, not an extension cord.

Must the lift itself adjust without mains power, even if you want a separate powered insert?

The FRM240 hand paddle and synchronized pneumatic pistons do not need mains power. The PDC002 outlets do need a grounded outlet; an unpowered room can still allow lifting but cannot supply power at the desktop.

Does a 29.5-inch actual desktop depth meet your space requirement?

The nominal 48 × 30 TOP310 sheet gives an actual 47.2 × 29.5-inch surface. Use the actual depth; it will not meet a 30-inch minimum.

UPLIFT Pneumatic · TOP310 Whiteboard · PDC002 power and ACC059 storage

Selector option 6920 pairs the black FRM240 manual frame and one-inch Whiteboard desktop with a gray two-outlet Power Grommet and gray storage cup. It gives up USB charging and a separate covered cable opening for those two different functions.

Two functions in two top openings

UPLIFT’s U.S. Pneumatic selector labels value 6920 “KIT-ACC059-PDC002-GRY > Power + Storage - Gray.” That is a useful configuration identity, not a retailer model number: the selected desktop is TOP310 Whiteboard Laminate, the support is black FRM240, and the grommet selection combines a gray PDC002 Power Grommet with one gray ACC059 Storage Grommet. There are two cutouts, so these two parts use both. Unlike the neighboring options, this one has no separate rotating cover and does not make the outlets pop up from a flush cap.

The PDC002 contributes two AC receptacles but no USB ports. Do not read “power grommet” as “USB charging,” and do not confuse it with UPLIFT’s current standalone Power Grommet page, which selects PDC119-BLK and describes USB-A and USB-C. The page and option are not an official replacement cross-reference; if you need this exact older module or a replacement, verify the PDC002 identity with UPLIFT before purchase.

Check electrical fit, then route the cord

The PDC002 sheet fits an 80 mm (3.15-inch) hole in a desktop 0.75 to 1.75 inches thick, and TOP310 is one inch thick. The option is selected as a bundle for that desktop, so the component dimensions appear compatible. Its 58-inch, three-prong cord is much shorter than the 10-foot lead on the PDC019 USB option. Measure the outlet route and leave slack for the desktop’s full travel. The PDC002 instructions say it needs a grounded outlet and warn against using an extension cord; the FRM240 lift is separate and works without mains power, but the desktop outlets do not.

There is a consequential rating conflict. The PDC002 instruction sheet states 120 V, 10 A; its later specification sheet lists 120 V, 15 A. The documents agree on voltage and 58-inch grounded cord, but not on the current rating. I therefore do not present either current limit as settled or use the higher one to imply a safe equipment load. If your intended devices make the limit important, ask the manufacturer for the applicable PDC002 rating before relying on the module. The documents also do not establish surge protection or USB charging for this unit.

Storage is not a drawer

The ACC059 cup is a small molded-plastic recess, roughly 2.9 inches across inside and 2.3 inches deep by the manufacturer’s drawing. Think a pen, small accessories, or a compact cup-sized item—not papers, a charger brick, or a large drink bottle. The desktop’s other hole is occupied by the power face, so this is not the selector’s two-cup plan and it leaves no dedicated opening for passing a separate cable through a cover. The PDC002 illustration itself shows a small cable slot in its face, but that is not the same arrangement as a separate grommet cover.

ACC059 documentation disagrees about its general desktop-thickness limits; a one-inch TOP310 lies within both stated ranges. There is no published numeric clearance requirement under the selected cup’s ring. Check the underside against frame rails, stored objects and other hardware before mounting rather than assuming every predrilled desk leaves room.

What the desk is—and is not

TOP310 is marketed as a dry-erase Whiteboard surface. The nominal size is 48 by 30 inches, but the specification lists 47.2 by 29.5 inches actual. Use the actual dimensions to plan a tight alcove, wall clearance or monitor setup. The two openings also break up the writing surface; this is not an uninterrupted board. If writing over the whole surface matters more than built-in outlets or storage, select a top without those holes.

The FRM240 uses a hand paddle and synchronized pneumatic pistons rather than an electric motor. With the one-inch top and no casters, its published working-surface range is 29.75 to 46 inches. The frame sheet distinguishes a 55-pound dynamic rating from a 220-pound static figure and includes the desktop in both. Treat these as manufacturer ratings, not independent testing; the static number is not the moving-load allowance or spare equipment capacity. There are no motor presets to save a frequent sitting or standing height.

Who should choose this bundle?

Choose this specific arrangement if you want a Whiteboard worktop, a manual lift, two desktop AC outlets, and one small storage cup, and a grounded outlet can reach the shorter 58-inch lead safely. It is a poor fit if you specifically need USB charging, a flush-until-raised power module, two storage cups, a separate covered pass-through, or a known 15-amp limit. The fixed PDC019 bundle offers USB but its own USB-output documents conflict; the PDC013 arrangement is pop-up; option 6916 provides two ACC059 cups; and 6915 splits storage from a separate cover. Each solves a different opening-level need. Measure the actual top and the underside before choosing among them, and confirm the PDC002 current rating if electrical load capacity is material to your decision.
