Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Do you need an included 60 × 30-inch solid-wood work surface?
Yes. This exact plan includes a 60 × 30-inch Rustic Walnut solid-wood top with a white V3 C-frame.
Explore this need in the finder →Do you want the UPLIFT Narrative plan with a built-in pencil drawer?
The selected plan includes the center pencil drawer, not the alternate slide-out keyboard tray.
Explore this need in the finder →Is a built-in AC/USB power panel essential?
No power panel is selected in this exact Narrative plan, so it cannot meet that essential requirement.
Explore this need in the finder →The UPLIFT V3 Narrative is a specific desk line, not just a regular V3 with a decorative top. This assessment covers one complete U.S. selector plan: UPL980 with a 60 × 30-inch Rustic Walnut solid-wood desktop, white V3 C-frame with 27.5-inch feet, a center pencil drawer, matte-black handle and black Advanced Paddle keypad. Those choices matter: the same product page offers four top lengths, four frame colors and a choice between the pencil drawer and a keyboard tray. A listing title alone does not tell you which one you are ordering.
A substantial top with storage built into the plan
The appeal is the combination of a full 60-inch span and a 30-inch front-to-back surface in the manufacturer-labeled Rustic Walnut solid wood. UPLIFT describes the handmade desktop as crafted in the United States. That makes this a different proposition from the company’s V3 desk with a Walnut Laminate top: the finish name here is not merely a laminate color. If you want the visual and material character of solid wood, the distinction is meaningful. If your priority is a smaller footprint or an easy-to-compare manufactured surface, a laminate V3 or one of the shorter Narrative sizes may make more sense.
The chosen 60 × 30 size is roomy but deserves a tape-measure check. Measure the whole space, including the chair path and the clearance behind the desk; do not judge fit from the top length alone. The manufacturer page also shows 54 × 30, 66 × 30 and 72 × 30 choices. A 54-inch version is the smallest length in this selector, while 66 and 72 inches need more room. The reviewed plan stays at 60 × 30, so the other sizes are alternatives, not dimensions you can assume this fact covers.
Storage is another real configuration choice. This plan selects the center pencil drawer. The page offers a slide-out keyboard tray instead, and those are not interchangeable needs: a drawer keeps small items close, while a tray changes where a keyboard can sit. The photographed Narrative also shows larger integrated drawer storage, but the plan selected here only claims the page’s actual center-drawer option. Check the selected package and its current pictures before treating any additional storage piece as included.
What the frame data establishes
This plan pairs the top with the two-leg UPLIFT V3 C-frame, selected in white with the standard 27.5-inch feet. The manufacturer’s C-frame specification sheet lists a bare-frame height range of 21.6–47.7 inches and adjustable frame width of 41.3–72.2 inches. Those are frame measurements, not a verified work-surface range for this thick solid-wood desktop. The Narrative page does not establish the top’s thickness in the archived selector view, so do not add the desktop to the minimum and maximum and present the result as a proven surface height. If a low seated position or a particular standing height is essential, confirm the complete current configuration’s surface measurement first; unknown should not count as a fit.
The V3 C-frame sheet publishes a 355-pound lifting-capacity figure. It does not call that a static rating or establish the usable equipment payload after the solid-wood top and accessories are part of this exact desk. Treat the figure as the maker’s frame lifting claim, not as a measured load test or a 355-pound allowance for monitors and gear. A person who needs a documented static rating or a precise payload should choose only after UPLIFT supplies a basis that answers that requirement.
The assembly instructions are for the FV3-200 C-frame. They show its desktop mounting layout, motor leads and keypad placement, rather than instructions for a converter or a different desk frame. The operating booklet also requires a reset after assembly and gives the frame’s duty-cycle limit: no more than two continuous minutes of movement, followed by eighteen minutes at rest. Plan the build and cable route before turning the assembled desk upright. This is a conventional powered sit-stand desk, so the adjustment system needs an outlet; it is not a manual, no-power converter.
Choices that change the recommendation
Choose this plan when you want an included, solid-wood top, a rectangular two-leg electric frame and the selected center drawer. The white frame is an available option, not the only V3 Narrative finish. A visitor who chooses a keyboard tray instead is looking at a different plan. The black Advanced Paddle keypad is also a selected control, but the source set reviewed here does not establish its saved-position count, so this assessment does not promise a number of presets.
This desk will not satisfy a requirement for a built-in AC/USB power panel: none is selected in this plan. Nor is a rolling-under-furniture base documented; its two-foot frame is not a low rolling workstation. If independent height controls for two people, a fixed minimum surface height, a cable tray or a static-load threshold is essential, do not let the model name or the general V3 specifications fill in the gap. Those facts are not confirmed for this exact package.
Who should shortlist it?
Shortlist the Narrative if a 60 × 30 solid-wood workspace and an integrated pencil drawer are more important than a compact, budget-neutral surface or a built-in power module. Its material and storage choices are the reason to look at this model, not evidence that it is automatically better than a simpler V3. Compare the exact V3 C-frame 60 × 24 configuration if room depth is tight; compare a regular laminate V3 if surface material is not essential; and compare another desk only after checking that it includes the drawer or keyboard solution you actually want.
This is a document-based assessment of the U.S. UPLIFT product page, selector, and V3 C-frame documents—not a hands-on stability, noise, finish-durability or assembly test. UPLIFT’s page can change its options, so confirm the 60 × 30 Rustic Walnut top, white frame, drawer, handle and keypad in the order summary. The frame specification and the complete desk’s work-surface height are deliberately kept separate.

Paper, software and setup details
Desktop and configuration note
This plan includes one 60 × 30-inch Rustic Walnut solid-wood desktop. The manufacturer page labels its handmade desktop as U.S.-crafted. The archived option choices do not establish top thickness. This is not a Walnut Laminate top.
Load-rating interpretation
355 lb is a matching-frame lifting-capacity statement only. Its basis is not established for the complete Narrative top; static rating and usable equipment payload remain unknown.
Operating and setup note
The selected electric V3 C-frame requires mains power. The exact manual is the FV3-200 C-frame booklet; it instructs a reset after assembly and limits movement to two continuous minutes followed by eighteen minutes at rest. The plan selects the black Advanced Paddle keypad, but the reviewed page/manual evidence does not establish its memory-preset count.
