Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Which exact Tria top and leg-color pair do you want?
This assessment covers White top with Black legs; these are finish selectors, not a claim of a different Tria frame or substrate.
Explore this need in the finder →What minimum actual desktop size must the included top provide?
The actual surfaces are 47.2 × 27, 58 × 27 and 70.9 × 29.5 inches; the last is marketed under a rounded 71 × 30 label.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the material and lowest surface setting fit your setup?
Branch specifies laminated MDF and a 25.5-inch lower finished-surface endpoint; solid wood or a lower surface is not established.
Explore this need in the finder →Do you need a complete two-leg desk configuration?
Each exact SKU is listed as a two-leg desk with the top included.
Explore this need in the finder →The Branch Tria in White with Black legs is a complete electric standing desk for someone who wants a light desktop paired with a dark frame. That finish pairing is a real selector, not a separate frame generation: the archived U.S. product feed lists three White / Black SKUs in the same Tria family. Branch describes the desktop as laminated MDF. “White” names the finish; it does not identify a different substrate or establish that the top is solid wood.
Choose the footprint by its actual edges
The feed’s nominal size labels need a little care if your room or monitor arms leave a tight fit. The marketed 48 × 27-inch option (SKU 10-14-05-82) measures 47.2 × 27 inches in the Tria specification. The 58 × 27-inch selector (10-14-09-82) measures 58 × 27 inches. The nominal 71 × 30-inch version (10-14-13-82) is 70.9 × 29.5 inches. If a wall, filing cabinet or adjacent desk makes the long or deep edge a hard limit, plan around those specification dimensions rather than rounding up the product label. The largest surface is the only one of these three with the extra 2.5 inches of depth; the middle is longer than the small option without adding depth.
All three are complete-desk plans with the same documented 25.5–48.9-inch finished work-surface range. Compare those endpoints with your seated keyboard height and standing posture before choosing a size. The 25.5-inch lower endpoint may be too high for some seated setups, while the published upper endpoint should be checked against your preferred standing position. Branch gives no separate bare-frame height in the specification, so these are finished-surface values, not measurements to which you should add the desktop thickness.
Controls and everyday setup
Branch lists three-stage lifting columns, two programmable height presets, collision detection and programmable reminders on the Tria. Treat the speed and sound statements as manufacturer claims, not comparative lab results. A collision feature is not a substitute for watching the travel path: clear chairs, drawer units, cables and objects before changing height. The handset can be mounted on either side and includes a USB-C port, but its charging wattage is not stated in the reviewed material. Do not choose this desk as a charging hub on the assumption that the port has laptop-class output.
The included cable organizer and clips help gather cords, and a desktop cable notch is documented. A full cable tray is compatible but is an add-on, not part of these complete-desk selector SKUs. The desktop does not include an AC/USB power panel or built-in drawer. If you require those integrated features, this is the wrong configuration even if the look and footprint are appealing; check the product list for a desk where those features are included in the same operating plan rather than assuming they come with a photo or accessory bundle.
Materials, limits and alternatives
The dark frame changes the visual pairing, not the verified load or motion specification. Branch publishes a 275-pound maximum/lift-capacity figure, but the specification does not say whether that figure is static or moving load or whether it includes the desktop’s own mass. Keep heavy equipment comfortably within the stated limit and ask Branch for its load-accounting basis if your setup is close. The top is laminated MDF, so do not treat the White finish as evidence of a solid-wood panel. Branch also lists a 10-year warranty for tabletop and frame components; read the current warranty for exclusions and claim requirements.
Choose the small option when the actual 47.2-inch edge and 27-inch depth fit your equipment; the 58-inch plan is a middle footprint; the large plan supplies the greatest documented depth and work area but is still just under the nominal 71 × 30-inch dimensions. If you prefer the same White top with light or charcoal legs, another Tria finish may suit the room better without changing the published size range. If the finish is secondary to a lower minimum height, a built-in power strip, a drawer or a clearly defined capacity basis, compare other models against that essential requirement instead of letting color decide the purchase. The useful question here is whether one exact size plan, the 25.5–48.9-inch finished range and the included-feature list all fit your room and routine; the White / Black selector by itself does not answer those setup questions.
