Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
What minimum tabletop length must the chosen configuration support?
This exact complete Duo plan includes a 58-inch-long top. The 36- and 48-inch Duo selections are shorter.

This selected top is 27 inches deep. Check the actual monitor stand, keyboard and writing area against that dimension.

Branch specifies a 28-inch minimum for the completed Duo work surface. That is not a bare-frame endpoint.

This is the exact complete-desk selection of Branch’s two-leg electric Duo with the 58 × 27-inch Eggshell top-color and White legs: SKU 10-10-09-109, variant 42450186010659 in the saved U.S. selector feed. The largest Duo surface is the point of this configuration. It is not a bare frame, and the feed’s historical availability flag is not a promise that it is in stock today.
Choose the footprint before the finish
At 58 inches long by 27 inches deep, this top gives more room in both directions than the 48 × 24-inch Duo. The extra 10 inches of length and 3 inches of depth add 414 square inches of surface area—about 36 percent more than that middle size. Against the 36 × 24-inch model, the gain is larger again. That can make it easier to keep a monitor stand or arm, keyboard, mouse and papers on one surface without overlapping them. It does not guarantee that any particular equipment layout will fit: measure the bases and cables, then leave room for a chair, wall clearance and the desk’s full travel.
The same footprint can be excessive in a narrow bedroom or a shared room where the chair must pass behind the desk. Measure the route through doors and turns as well as the final place; the archived specifications give a family assembled-weight range, not an exact weight for this size. The saved selector lists no 58 × 24 Duo option: the 48 × 24 is shallower, at the cost of ten inches of width. If the room is the limiting factor, compare the 48 × 24 and 36 × 24 configurations rather than treating “larger” as automatically better.
What Eggshell does—and does not—tell you
The official page groups Eggshell under its Laminate selector category, and the U.S. feed pairs that top-color with White legs at this exact size. The saved Duo specification sheet describes a laminated MDF family top, but its finish list does not identify Eggshell by name. I therefore treat the selector’s Laminate classification as useful, while leaving the precise Eggshell substrate unconfirmed; it is not evidence of solid wood. Anyone whose essential requirement is a specific core, veneer or solid-wood construction should verify that detail with Branch before choosing this finish.
The representative Maple / White image shows the same Duo size, not the selected Eggshell surface. Do not use that different finish to judge Eggshell’s color; check the manufacturer’s current finish information if appearance is important in your room.
Movement and the height constraint
Branch lists a completed work-surface range of 28 to 47.3 inches. That is the desk surface with the selected top, not a bare-frame measurement. A person who needs a desk that goes below 28 inches should not count this model as satisfying that essential need. Conversely, check the intended standing height against the 47.3-inch upper end rather than relying on an illustration. The frame has two legs and two motors, an OLED paddle handset, two saved presets, collision detection and reminder prompts. The maker lists a 1.3-inch-per-second speed and noise below 50 dB; those are published specifications, not measurements from independent testing.
Branch states a lift capacity or weight limit of up to 275 pounds but does not specify whether that is static or dynamic, or whether the top’s weight is deducted. Do not treat it as a confirmed usable-load rating for a setup whose safety depends on a documented static or dynamic threshold. That limitation matters more than the family’s broad capacity number if you plan to place unusually heavy equipment on the desk.
Plan for assembly and add-ons
The selected option is a complete desk with its top and frame. Branch’s assembly guide calls for two people, so plan for help and enough space to assemble and turn the desk upright. The top has the family’s rounded edges and cable notch; the included clips can help keep a run of wire near the surface, but there is no included cable tray, drawer or built-in power panel. A notch is not a substitute for an under-desk cable-management system. The Bluetooth adapter needed for app use is optional, not part of the ordinary desk configuration. Budget and compare accessories separately, and confirm fit before buying a tray or drawer for the 58-inch version.
Who should consider it?
This Eggshell / White Duo is a sensible candidate when the measured room can take a 58 × 27 top, the finished surface range works for the user, and a large clear work area matters more than compactness. It is a poor fit when you require a lower surface than 28 inches, a verified solid-wood top, built-in outlets, an included drawer or cable tray, or a fully specified load basis. For a tighter room, the 48 × 24 Duo sacrifices some area while keeping the same stated family height range; the 36 × 24 is the more compact choice. The family sheet lists a ten-year tabletop-and-frame warranty, but review the current terms and exclusions directly. Confirm current finish details, accessories and availability with the maker before ordering.
