Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
What minimum tabletop length must the chosen configuration support?
This exact complete Duo plan includes a 36-inch-long top; a larger length is a different selected configuration.
Explore this need in the finder →What minimum desktop depth must the chosen desk support?
This plan’s exact included surface is 24 inches deep; verify that it fits the real monitor stand, keyboard and writing area.
Explore this need in the finder →What is the highest acceptable minimum desktop-surface height?
Branch specifies a 28-inch minimum finished work-surface height for Duo; the published configuration does not establish a lower bare-frame endpoint.
Explore this need in the finder →The Branch Duo in the Eggshell top-color with Eggshell legs is a complete 36 × 24-inch electric desk. The official U.S. selector identifies that exact combination as SKU 10-10-07-112, rather than a frame-only offer or a 48-inch top. It is most convincing when the room calls for a small, coordinated work surface and the equipment list is modest. Its main compromise is plain: 36 inches of width leaves less room to spread out than the larger Duo sizes.
Eggshell is a color choice, not a wood claim
Branch’s current selector places Eggshell among its laminate top colors. The Duo specification sheet describes a laminated MDF top, but the archived sheet’s color list does not include Eggshell; it may predate this newer selector. The reliable distinction is therefore the manufacturer’s current finish label, not a claim that this is a different wood or a more durable desktop. “Eggshell” should not be read as proof of solid wood, veneer, or a special surface treatment. If a specific composition or finish-cleaning rule is essential, ask Branch to confirm the current Eggshell specification before ordering.
The selected top and leg labels are both Eggshell, giving the 36 × 24 plan a lighter, visually continuous look than a White-leg configuration. Branch also lists other leg colors for the same top and size. Those are finish choices, not evidence of different lift hardware; the exact SKU still matters when buying, and a finish name does not guarantee that every color is in stock at the same time. The manufacturer’s archived feed marks this selector available, but that flag is not a live inventory or checkout check.
The 36 × 24 footprint is the real fit test
This top measures 36 inches across by 24 inches deep—six square feet before you account for rounded corners and the rear cable notch. That can work for a laptop-centered station, compact display, keyboard and a little room for notes. It is a tighter plan for a full-size monitor stand, speakers, papers and peripherals together. Measure the actual bases and the reach you need, not just screen diagonals. A deep monitor stand can consume the 24-inch depth quickly, and the 36-inch length makes side-by-side equipment a deliberate layout choice.
Branch offers the Duo at 48 × 24 and 58 × 27 inches as well. Moving to 48 inches adds a foot of width without changing depth; the largest option adds both width and three inches of depth. If you routinely keep two displays, reference books, or project materials on the desk, compare those dimensions against your room and chair clearance before picking a small top simply because it fits the floor plan. The official page also directs people who need a larger size, more presets, or an extended travel range to Branch’s classic Standing Desk; check its current measurements rather than assuming the Duo’s range carries over.
Useful adjustment, but check both ends
Branch lists a finished work-surface range of 28 to 47.3 inches for the Duo. That range can suit many seated and standing setups, but it is not a low-profile frame: anyone who needs the desktop below 28 inches should not treat a different top finish as a solution. The desk uses two motors, two saved height positions, collision detection and programmable reminders. Its paddle handset is intended for repeated sit-stand changes; the instructions describe two saved positions in seated and standing terms. Those are manufacturer-stated functions, not measurements from an independent test.
Branch’s 275-pound figure is described as a lift capacity or weight limit. The published material used here does not say whether that is a static or dynamic rating, whether it includes the desktop, or how it changes across movement. Do not treat it as a verified usable payload for a heavy monitor array without getting that basis from Branch. The stated motor speed and below-50-dB noise figure are also manufacturer specifications rather than independently measured results.
Plan for a bare desk and a two-person build
The Duo has a built-in cable notch, but the cable organizer, drawer and power options are add-ons rather than part of the selected desk itself. Its app features require an optional Bluetooth adapter. If the essential requirement is an integrated AC/USB panel, a drawer included in the package, or a complete cable tray without another purchase, confirm the chosen package carefully; the desk’s finish does not add those functions.
Branch’s assembly guide calls for two-person assembly and reminds owners to leave enough cord slack for the full lift travel. Arrange help and check the route to the outlet before the desk is upright. Branch lists a 10-year warranty, but coverage details and exclusions belong to the current warranty terms. The manufacturer’s Eggshell gallery image is useful for judging the color pairing, yet it does not identify the selected 36 × 24 size; use the dimensions above, not the photo’s perspective, for a final fit decision.
Choose this exact configuration when a compact surface, two presets and the Eggshell-on-Eggshell appearance meet your measured setup. Step up to another Duo size if workspace is the limiting factor, and compare the classic Branch Standing Desk if the Duo’s 28-inch minimum, two presets or 19.3-inch travel span do not meet your requirements. The finish makes the desk look different; it does not change those practical limits.
